Exclusive Sneak Peak: Leo Messi Ballon d'Or Edition adidas F50

Exclusive sneak peak on Leo Messi's Ballon d'Or adidas F50 adizero miCoach.

Here is a quick post for all you football boot enthusiasts. Three Time Fifa World Player of the Year just received these, what look to be custom gold adidas Adizero F50 miCoach. Now obviously the gold was chosen because he won the Ballon d’Or. Now it’s only a sneak peak, but definitely worth checking out. I’m expecting this one to a similar color way to the gold Leo Messi that was released in the first adizero model, pictured below. You can see a bit of white and the very top of the black stripes. I’m sure everyone will be waiting to see Messi put these into action for the next Barca match. I’m just wondering whether the sole plate will be golden or a classic white or black, because for the most part, the sole’s have been white on the adizero, but now with the mi coach, the sole plate is starting to match the rest of the boot.

They have released these special edition player boots out to the public before, like when David Beckham had his 100th England cap the all gold color way was released. At the same time sometimes they have been kept exclusive, when Becks wore the White/Pink color way after the birth of his daughter. I would like to see these on the market and might be tempted to pick up a pair but you never know. Not everyone wins the Ballon d’Or so why would everyone be able to buy them? What about y’all, would you like to see these available to the public or strictly for Messi himself?

  1. I think only people under 5'5, Messi's height, should be able to wear them. :P
