Manchester United took on Norwich City on Sunday, February 26th, still in pursuit of the noisy neighbors, Manchester City. City won this weekend, so United really didn't want to let them slip away. It was quick start for United as a cross from the wing, fed in by Nani, met Paul Scholes' head as the canaries were caught napping. For most of the match after that both terms were on the attack and David De Gea was really put to the test. He was make save after save, and great ones at that. At the same time, you couldn't say Utd's defense was playing that badly. Soon enough, after playing so well, Norwich had their breakthrough. It came late in the match from Hoyt. Immediately United was under pressure to get a late winner.

Celebrating his 900th appearance, Ryan Giggs really has completed yet another milestone wearing the number 11 shirt for United. All eyes were on him as he had hit the cross bar at one point, made dashing runs down the middle playing the ball thought the legs of defenders like he was 20, and fed the ball to Danny Welbeck who just missed a possible game winning
header. Substitute Ashley Young and been sending in crosses, and in the last few minutes of the match, one me the feet of Giggs who tapped it into the corner of the goal. Truly a legendary player. Most probably viewed it that Norwich deserved a point, and they did, but nothin beats these legendary finishes to matches, especially when they happen for such a great player celebrating a milestone in his career. Manchester will face Tottenham this upcoming weekend and Norwich take on Stoke City.
