Next, David Beckham’s LA Galaxy took on Cristiano Ronaldo’s Real Madrid. Real Madrid also took a 4-1 win over the MLS side. Celebratign his daugther’s birth, Beckham wore a one-time Special Edition color way of the Adidas Adipower.
On the same night as the LA/Real clash, Manchecter City played Club America, winning 2-0. Only two days later, City took on their second opponents, the Vancouver Whitecaps. City also won this game, with a 2-1 victory. The games will continue with Real Madrid taking on Chivas Guadalajara Wednesday, July 20, 2011.
