Man Utd Sign Two New Players:

Earlier this month, Phil Jones agreed to move to United also on a five-year contract from Blackburn Rovers. The 19-year-old is an English defender who does play some midfield. Once signed, Rooney made sure he welcomed the fellow Englishman by saying;

“Phil Jones is a good young English player, one of the toughest defenders I played against last season. He can play midfield, too.” –Wayne Rooney (Titter, 8 June 2011) (Manutd.com)

Manchester United has successfully sign Aston Villa winger Ashley Young yesterday, after he passed a medical at Old Trafford earlier this week. The 25-year-old signed a five-year contract with the Reds. Young is known to be the creator of many goals, being second for assists over the past five seasons. Rio Ferdinand also welcomed the young Englishman to United through Twitter. Once Young was officially a Red, he said the following;

“The opportunity to come and play for one of the biggest clubs in the world is one I couldn’t turn down. It’s a chance to play with the great players who play for the club and hopefully become port of the history by helping win the 20th title.” – Young (Manutd.com)

P.S. I’m going to guess the kit numbers of the two players.
Jones: 4
Young: 18
